OUTDOOR SOCCER

SSDCG PROGRAMS

FSTA's Soccer Skills Development Clinic and Game (SSDCG) Programs refers to the age group of players 4 to 15 YRS who participate in a variety of recreational sessions designed to develop basic to advanced soccer skills and concepts in game-like situations, while encouraging learning and fun!

FSTA FUNdamentals:

​

This SSDCG Program for children of the age group (4-15 YRS) will run from the first week of June for eight weeks. Sessions for players aged 4-6 YRS will be forty-five minutes long, and one hour long for players aged 7-9 YRS and 10-15 YRS. Sessions will be held once a week. Girls and boys will be training together, the groups are mixed (no fixed team structure), and all activities will be held on the same field. The group will be coached by the Director and trained volunteers. The program may not proceed if there is insufficient players registered. There must be at least ten players at each age group.

Please Note: Parents/guardians are required to equip their player with a soccer ball, soccer shoes, shin pads, black shorts and black socks. Players cannot wear hats or jewelry during training/games, including earrings of any kind, and hair must be tied back away from the face. Parents/guardians of players aged 4-6 YRS MUST be present for all sessions.

SUMMER SOCCER CAMP:

​

This SSDCG Program for children and youth will be run for two weeks in July every year. Players learn through guided discovery, instructional demonstrations, technical training, and activities. Players are divided into groups based on age and skill level. Girls and boys will be training together. The camp is coached by the Director and trained volunteers. The program may not proceed if there is insufficient players registered.

Please Note: Parents/guardians are required to equip their player with a soccer ball, shin pads, outdoor soccer shoes, soccer socks, sunscreen, a hat, lunch and lots of water and snacks.

​

Our 2024 Summer Soccer Camp will run from July 8th - July 12th and July 15th - July 19th @ South Gower Park. Please see the camp schedule and fee details below for more information.
