Frank’s Soccer Training Academy (FSTA) was founded in 2002 by Frank Onasanya. As someone who was very passionate about the game of soccer, Frank wanted to share his knowledge, excitement and love of the game through coaching.

The academy started by offering indoor soccer skills development clinics, in Kemptville, for children and youth throughout the winter. As the number of players in the academy grew, Frank started training teams that would compete in indoor soccer leagues throughout Ottawa, known as The Fusion. Over the years, FSTA has trained and developed hundreds of players through both the Indoor Skills and Fusion programs. Many of our former players have gone on to have great success  in the game.

FSTA is fortunate to have had the opportunity to have worked and trained with many different coaches and soccer enthusiasts in the area. This has led to the growth of our coaching philosophy and player development programs. Without the support and commitment of these people, FSTA would not be where it is today.

Currently, FSTA has players who train in our indoor skills programs, and multiple futsal teams in the Fusion program that train and compete throughout the fall/winter. In 2017, the Academy expanded to the outdoor season, in and effort to provide players in the community, and surrounding areas, with another opportunity to develop their soccer capabilities as much as they desire. We have multiple teams and skills development through our FSTA FUNdamentals program, in addition to our Summer Soccer Camp that has been running for over ten years in Kemptville.

Our goal at FSTA is to provide required soccer skills training and development that enhance and improve each individual soccer player's ability, physical literacy, agility, balance, coordination and game vision, with the intent of bringing them closer to their soccer aspirations and achievements.
